Trillium Compact All-terrain Broadband Seismometer

Summary

The Trillium Compact All-terrain was specifically developed for deployments where long-term site stability is questionable, or where the ability to prepare a sensor footing is limited, such as volcanoes, icefields and glaciers.

Incorporating a robust and reliable leveling gimbal that operates over a full 360° range, the Compact All-terrain will auto-level from all orientations ensuring continuous operation even on hostile or unstable surface terrain, without requiring intervention through site visits.

State-of-health outputs include case orientation, providing a powerful data set for reviewing deployment history.

A robust, stainless steel enclosure, ultra-low power consumption of 180mw and exceptionally high clip level of 26 mm/s permits on scale recording of larger events closer to the source.

Nanometrics’ Trillium Compact All-terrain seismometer might be right for you if:

  • You need to protect the sensor from the most hostile environments
  • You want the exceptional dynamic range and low noise floor of the Trillium Compact
  • You need to reduce battery costs and minimize power source requirements at the site
  • You're installing where long-term site stability is questionable, or where the ability to prepare a sensor footing is limited
